Stamco Timber operates from a 5.5 acre site and timber mill in Hastings, East Sussex. We offer you competitive machining services that rival mills in the UK and Scandinavia - more information in our services section. Our extensive manufacturing capacity and timber treatment plant means that we can provide you with a complete end to end service for your business. We can ensure quality is maintained throughout the whole buying and production process, as well as providing you with a competitive price and exceptional customer service. Stamco was founded in 1957 as a family-owned, independent supplier of timber mouldings. The company has gone from strength to strength and is now made up of 3 businesses; Stamco Timber, Stamco Building Supplies (a merchant with branches in Eastbourne, Hastings, Hove and Shoreham) and Karelia Wood Flooring (a national wood flooring business). |

October 2007: Stamco’s new machining services will rival mills in the UK and Scandinavia
We are investing over £900,000 to upgrade our wholesale timber machining services to ensure that we can offer you faster, large volume and customised machining services. The new facilities incorporate the latest technology and wil enable Stamco to offer customers a competitive service that will rival what is offered now by mills in the UK and overseas.
The implementation of the new equipment will begin in late December 2007 and become fully operational in early 2008. The investment in Weinig machinery includes:
