Community
Stamco Building Supplies has a Community Policy at the core of its business. The community programme is designed to support the regeneration of our local community, the development and motivation of our staff and the growth of our business.
 
We have a long and proud history of providing work experience placements for students from local Secondary schools and colleges, as well as placements to students from across Europe, most notably from Kuopio in Finland but also previously from France and Italy through links with Sussex University.
 

We support local charities and community groups – in particular those projects that involve young people, the elderly, are local to our business and those that reflect the views of our employees.

We were the first company in Hastings and Rother to achieve the national CommunityMark – and the first builder’s merchant in the country to do so. The CommunityMark recognises contributions made by SMEs in their community.
