What is happening to Stamco?
Last year Stamco was acquired by Parker Building Supplies and their strategic partner Cairngorm Capital. As a result of this acquisition we are now changing the 5 Stamco branches at Hastings, Hove, Rye, Worthing and Eastbourne to become Parkers.
Why are you changing the name?
By being part of the larger Parkers network and also the family of independent builders merchants that includes Chandlers and Fairalls, means that we can give all our customers more. That means we can source from a wider range of products, also we will have more lorries and greater expertise in specialist areas such as roofing and civils. We remain local but the bigger network means we are able to bring you more of what you need wherever you need it. What’s more the Stamco Timber brand will remain so we will still have access to our own brilliant timber range from the mill in Hastings.
Can I still shop online?
Yes, for the time being the Stamco web address remains the same www.stamco.co.uk. In a while, we will shut this web address but not until we can offer you an improved web experience at www.parkerbs.com. Don’t worry we will let you know when the change occurs.
How do I get in touch with Parkers?

How do I know that prices won’t go up as a result of this changeover?
We hope that overall you will find that you will be saving money as a result of the change. The products we sell will change slightly, but you will have access to a much wider range of supplies through our bigger network of branches and brands. We aim to make sure you will always get great prices on products that you buy most frequently
Will I still be able to get the same products now that you are Parkers?
On the whole you will still be able to get the same or similar products. On some items we will be changing supplier to bring you the best deals available. Rest assured if there is something you need we will still do our best to get it for you. With more branches and more specialist teams we think you’ll have access to even more building and roofing materials than before.
Credit Limits and Terms & Conditions
I don’t have a Parkers account, can I still use my Stamco one?
Sorry, but you won’t be able to use your Stamco account once the change has happened. But don’t worry if you have a Stamco trade account, a new Parkers account will be created for you. You will need to sign the terms and conditions to complete the opening of your new Parkers account. Please do this before your next order. Once you have signed this then your new Parkers account will be ready for you to trade straight away, after the branch has changed to Parkers. TRADE ACCOUNT FORM HERE

Can I open my new Parkers account online?

I still have an amount outstanding on my Stamco account, how should I pay it?
Payment of Stamco invoices should continue to be made to the Stamco Natwest bank details you currently use.
I already have a Parkers account what do I need to do?
If you already have a trade account with Parker Building Supplies, you will now be able to use this to purchase goods from the rebranded former Stamco branches, plus any other Parkers branches.
When you have paid off your Stamco trade account fully, your Stamco credit limit will be added on to your Parkers account so that you have the same overall credit limit as before. Your Stamco account will then closed.
Where do I make payments on my Parkers account, is it the same as Stamco?
Parkers have different bank details. For future purchases from Parkers, the bank details will change to Lloyds bank and the bank account details will be printed on your invoice or available from the Parkers credit control team at email@example.com or 01825 748444
Can I still pay my trade account balance in branch?
We are sorry but we are not currently able to provide this service at the moment.
Will I pay the same prices as I do now?
Yes, for like for like items your prices should be the same or better than you are currently paying. We hope that by being part of a larger network of builders merchants we will be able to bring you the benefits of buying better. This is why we think the change to Parkers is going to be good news for all our customers.
Will I have the same account terms as currently?
Yes, absolutely, we hope that you will find that not only will you be on the same terms as currently, but you will have access to a much wider range of products and more specialist knowledge. We think it is a win win, same great prices but more products and access to more stock.
How do I sign up to receive special offers and news from Parkers?
